2013 is packed with herbal goodness! I’ve just added a full year’s worth of classes, events, workshops to the “Events, Workshops” page so check it out to see if there’s something nearby you’d like to attend. At the end of the year I’ll be giving some classes at the upcoming Herbalismo festival near Austin, Texas. For more info on Herbalismo clickÂ
Next week I’ll be back at Flora Roja, a gorgeous facility offering community acupuncture (meaning its affordable with a family-feel). This is the first of a series on The Art of Making Medicine, with an emphasis on expectorant herbs. Once again, we’ll try to video record as much of the class as we can…if it works this time, it will be posted on our YouTube channel.
I’ll be offering a free workshop at the Newton County Public Library in June on Ozark Edible Wild Plants followed with three seasonal intensives on our wilderness site, Wild Magnolia, to discover the secrets it holds for us in food and medicine.
